Description
The Department of the Environment published new water supply (water fittings)regulations which came into effect in 1999. These update and supersede the previous range of local water bye laws. National criteria have been laid down as a means of preventing waste, undue consumption, misuse, contamination and the erroneous measurement of water.
This course has been developed to help plumbers and others involved in the industry to update their knowledge of this legislation which is used to control the installation and use of water supply systems.
This qualification is increasingly sought after by local authorities and housing associations and is accepted by Corgi as evidence for the plumbing competent person scheme.
