Description
Since April 2005 gas installers in England and Wales have been required to install high efficiency boilers whenever possible in order to comply with the Building Regulations Approved Document L1 – Conservation of Fuel and Power. CORGI registered installers across the UK have also been required to notify CORGI of all domestic gas appliance installations since April 2005. Over 1 million appliance notifications were received in the first twelve months 65 % of those were boilers.
The course aims to provide gas engineers with knowledge of the Regulations and an understanding of the importance of energy efficient heating and hot water systems.
